Our Spiritual Philosophy: To achieve perfection, our church must always, and will always be a five-fold ministry (Ephesians 4:11), with the nurturing of ministries of Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Pastors, and Evangelists. These were the directive for church building as outlined in the scriptures. Our Ministry must always be a threshing floor, where all services must be sanctioned by the Spirit of God.

Gospel Assembly-Queens does not have or follow any other creed but the Bible, the Scriptures alone, Jesus Christ alone, and Faith alone. For as the great reformer, Martin Luther said during the Dark Ages, and this is still true today, “the just shall live by Faith”

Gospel Assembly’s Humble Beginnings (Queens, New York)

On February 7, 2001, a group of five sisters decided to get together in the name of the Lord to start a bible study in a basement. Then they invited Pastor Marc T. Pierre to join them that is when and where this church originated.

Gospel Assembly-Queens is not here to add to the list of churches already in existence but it sprung to make a difference and created an everlasting impact in the evolving Christian community. It is after all a spiritual church. Its slogan is “Sprit Filled- Spirit Led”. This church slogan can be paralleled to the image of the children of Israel while on their way to the Promised Land. A pillar of cloud led them during the day and a pillar of fire during the night.

Gospel Assembly-Queens is the answer of a fall. “Follow me and you will be perfect as my Father is perfect.” It is the leadership of Jesus Christ being in action. This church is striving for perfection. It is a place where people are encouraged to put their talents to work. Your background, your education, your family status do not make any difference. The only thing that counts is the need to be like Jesus. It is our belief that one day we will be perfect as he was; that there must be a five-fold ministry, a threshing floor, that all services must be sanctioned by the Spirit of God. Gospel Assembly-Queens does not have any creed but the Bible. Jesus alone, Scripture alone, Faith alone as the great reformer Martin Luther King said during the Dark Ages, “the just shall live by “faith”.
