ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Greetings in the name of the Lord!

We, at Gospel Assembly-Queens, are celebrating our 18th year of serving God in the community.  During these years, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, in collaboration with other associations, organizations and churches, we have contributed to the development of the community in the following ways:

*We started and maintained a food pantry program serving over five thousand (5000) families per month.  In addition, we instituted a food delivery ministry for the service of needy home-bound individuals.

*We operate a year-round-clothing drive and a seasonal holiday toy and gift dive.

*We support the community's recent immigrant with their cultural adjustments, as they attempt to assimilate into their new American environment.

*We have organized and conduct after-school and Summer-school programs, besides catering to our youth's artistic development by giving weekly music lessons.

*We facilitate the Summer Youth Employment Program for the youth of New York City which provides a huge relief to the parents of both the students in our Summer school program, and those of the summer-employment program, while providing income and job experience to the youth.

*We administer a dynamic youth ministry, where guidance and counseling are provided, with supervised meetings held weekly; with the objective of restricting the negative influences of drugs, alcohol, and street violence.  We're helping them to focus on the positive aspects of life, such as self-esteem, mutual respect , and discipline. Hence, promoting altruism.

*We have aligned ourselves with an accredited academic institution which provides continuing academic support, guidance and supervision. We're providing the members of our church community the opportunity to achieve post-High School academic certificates and/or degrees to the Associate, Bachelor, Masters, and Doctoral levels.

*We minister to inmates in prison, as well as to the sick in hospitals and nursing homes, the displaced shelters locally and out-of-state. There has been opportunity to assist with the needs of those affected by Hurricane Sandy, especially on the Far Rockaway Peninsula.

*We have a live 24/7 radio ministry where we provide social services while spreading the 'gospel of Jesus Christ.' Convincingly, it is the most influential agent of change accessible online at www.radiotvevangile.com.  Programming can also be accessed via phone (712) 432-4426, SHOUTCAST app on your smartphone, iPhone or iPad; or WINAMP app on Android phones.

Our Pastor and Chaplain, Rev. Marc T. Pierre and his ministry has been providing spiritual guidance and counseling, facilitating conflict resolutions and mediations together with any community-required service.
